They are highly prized by our market customers and growers alike. \u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003eMusic is a long storing variety, often \u003c\/span\u003eusable\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003e and marketable until late May. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMusic is a hardneck variety and produces large tender scapes. Garlic Scapes are a wonderful addition to the early season market table and they store for many weeks in refrigeration.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe have been saving, selecting and regrowing this garlic for over a decade and our original seed stock was from a Certified Organic source.  \u003cbr\u003eIt is very well adapted to our cold Michigan winters and has performed well through the less consistent weather patterns of recent years. \u003cbr\u003eHere on our home farm we have a heavier clay loam soil and our harvest is mostly large and jumbo size bulbs, it also sizes up very well in lighter soils. \u003cbr\u003eWe work closely with a local soil food web consultant to help us create a healthy soil ecosystem and balanced nutrition plan.
